The good and the great of the Destination world gathered last week in Tampa, Florida to learn, debate, educate, and decide on the future path for Destination Marketing Organisations (DMO). There can be little doubt that the mood of the conference was one of positivity and optimism mixed in with the reality that for many places around the world tourism is overheating. The movement, encouraged by Destinations International, toward including a much higher degree of stewardship in an organization's framework was evident throughout. These interviews from the conference laid testimony to that.
