1000 Mile Travel Group announces first Australian travel advisor symposium
The 1000 Mile Travel Group (1000MTG) has unveiled details of its inaugural Australia travel agent symposium.
The event takes place in Melbourne on 12 December 2023 at the Dorsett Hotel.
It brings together travel agents and staff from across the country.
Ben Ross, CEO said: “This event is a testament to our commitment to providing our travel advisors with the tools and knowledge they need to excel.”
The highlight of the day will be a professional development workshop led by Chelsea Cunningham, a brand marketing expert specialising in narrative and storytelling.
Cunningham’s workshop will delve into social media and brand awareness, equipping travel advisors with the confidence and skills needed to drive business growth.
The symposium agenda includes insights from 1000MTG founders Ben Ross and Nicola Veltman, and break-out sessions offering practical tips and advice on business growth.
There is also a Q&A panel session featuring experts, and updates from key suppliers and partners.

The symposium supported by travel industry partners, including gold sponsors Expedia TAAP and Singapore Airlines, and silver sponsor, Virgin Australia.
