1000Access agent platform adds hotel, car rental bookings

Following a successful soft launch in North America earlier this year, 1000 Mile Travel Group (1000MTG) has upgraded independent travel advisor platform 1000Access with access to hotels and car rental options alongside flights.

Developed in partnership with Sabre, 1000Access is a comprehensive solution for independent travel advisors, Virtuoso members, and mid-sized agencies.

It enables them to streamline their workflows, 1000MTG says.

“Our initial goal with 1000Access was clear,” says Nicola Veltman, CEO of 1000MTG.

“We wanted to create a platform that saves time and drives revenue for travel advisors. Today, it has evolved into a game-changer.”

1000Access allows for automatic ticketing, negotiated fares, and commission tracking.

Using 1000Access, travel advisors can compare rates, check availability, and complete bookings all from one dashboard.

The platform’s automation takes care of time-consuming tasks like traveler profiles, generating invoices, and creating itineraries.

“This platform isn’t just another tool; it’s designed to maximize productivity,” says Ben Ross, co-founder and CEO.

“While it’s powered by Sabre Red LaunchPad, the product, content and backend automation we’ve built in ensures advisors get the most out of every workday.”

1000Access also gives insights into an advisor’s business performance, from tracking top-selling destinations to identifying up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.

It can manage client preferences, loyalty memberships, and special requests.

1000MTG says about 40% of its North American independent travel advisors and business owners have been onboarded to 1000Access, collectively earning over $120,000 in airline commissions.
