A Suite of Savings on Luxury Mediterranean Cruises
Although The Yachts of Seabourn reports record demand for its luxury Mediterranean cruises this year the luxury cruise operator says savings of up to 50% are still possible for remaining suites.
“Demand for Europe has been unprecedented and our ships are sailing at almost full capacity,” Seabourn president and CEO Pamela Conover said. “But we have limited space on a variety of departures so we can still accommodate luxury travel seekers in 2007.”
Ms Conover said Med cruises in the late northern summer provided the best value, adding, “A cruise in August, September or October will save you a bundle over luxury land-based options.” “And autumn is also a beautiful time of the year to visit the region.”
Ms Conover said suites were available on seven-day cruises aboard Seabourn Legend departing Monte Carlo, Barcelona and Rome on August 25, September 15, 22 and 29 and October 13, with the September 22 and 29 sailings able to be combined for a dream two-week cruise at savings of 50% off brochures fares.
Space is also available aboard Seabourn Spirit on seven-day voyages departing September 1, October 6 and October 27, with savings of up to 50% leaving fares available from US$3133 * per person twin share.
Seabourn’s three all-suite yachts, carrying just 208 passengers each, are designed to offer discerning travellers the highest level of indulgence at sea, with almost one crew member for every passenger.
The rising popularity of the award-winning 10,000-ton ships has prompted the line to build two bigger 32,000-ton ships, due in 2009 and 2010, to cater for the demand.
Fares on Seabourn’s yachts include complimentary indulgences such as free champagne on arrival, continuous open bar, Massage MomentsSM on deck, gourmet cuisine in open-seating restaurants, marble bathrooms, flatscreen TVs, designer soaps and water sports from each yacht’s own flip-open marina.
