Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism has a host of activities lined up for delegates this week at World Travel Market London.

WTM London takes place between 6 and 8 November.

Its multi-faceted stand will help bring to life the city’s culture through immersive destination offerings, as well as host signings, workshops and networking.

Destination experiences include activations including live Bait Al Gahwa sessions, demonstrating traditional Arabic coffee and demonstrations of Emirati traditions and handicrafts with the House of Artisans.

There will also be the chance to try out perfume-making, an interactive experience of Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and an augmented reality photobooth.

The stand will also showcase the latest Abu Dhabi tourism calendar, which features a line-up of back-to-back events for the 2023/2024 winter season.

The destination is celebrating its biggest season yet, with more than 150 events taking place over six months. ·

Highlights include Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concerts headlined by Ava Max, Tiësto and Foo Fighters.

There are also NBA and UFC events.

Additionally, there are various art exhibitions, and educational initiatives that shine a light on the UAE’s history and heritage.

The DCT Abu Dhabi is at stand S7-210 at WTM 2023
