A single online access point for agents to order brochures has been established by sister distributors BP Travel Marketing Services and Au Logistics.
The agent-only portal at www.trade-gate.co.uk includes a carousel of updated product information which will be loaded directly by tour operators.
A listing of brochure launches, e-brochures and a directory of trade websites also feature on the site together with news feeds.
BP’s sales and marketing director Steve Martin said: “This development makes it much easier for travel agents to order brochures from the full range of tour operators covered by BP and Au using a single website and password.
“We have introduced some exciting extras to turn www.trade-gate.co.uk into a resources portal, allowing travel agents to access a range of information and news as well as providing a convenient single point for ordering brochure supplies.
“We are also planning a number of new features that will be added over the coming months.”
All ABTA and consortia travel retailers regularly access the BP and Au brochure order services, which combined have between 20,000 and 25,000 user sessions each month.
BP brought in a home worker edition of Trade-Gate last year allowing them to order single copies and small packs. This now has more than 1,800 registered users who will now use the new Trade-Gate portal.
