Aer Lingus first global airline to adopt Revolut Pay
Aer Lingus has rolled out a new payment option for customers.
They can make bookings with Revolut Pay on both the Aer Lingus app and website, aerlingus.com.
Revolut Pay is a secure payment method that allows Aer Lingus customers to complete the checkout process in a single click.
Aer Lingus customers can book flights without inputting their payment details, by clicking Revolut Pay at checkout on the Aer Lingus website and app.
Customers can then approve the payment securely in their Revolut app – which is protected by their passcode or biometric ID.
Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus Chief Customer Officer said: “Revolut Pay allows our customers to make payments quickly and securely. It marks another step on our digital transformation journey.”
Existing Revolut users can use Revolut Pay and pay via saved cards or directly via their Revolut account balance.
Non-Revolut users can sign up in minutes.
Aer Lingus customers can make payments using any of the 11 currencies the airline accepts.
Revolut is an online bank which has more than 35 million customers worldwide.
