Aer Lingus launching Vegas flights
Irish flag carrier Aer Lingus has announced inaugural flights for the highly anticipated nonstop route to Sin City.
Las Vegas flights from Dublin take off on Friday 25 October 2024 three times per week, on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
The flights are operated on widebody Airbus A330-300 and run seasonally until 29 April 2025.
A premier North America winter sun destination, casino capital Las Vegas offers iconic glitzy shows, as well as big ticket sports events including the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix.
“Aer Lingus is bringing this iconic destination to customers seeking an escape to the winter sun.” said Lynne Embleton, Aer Lingus Chief Officer.
“In addition to the warm climate, Las Vegas is renowned for being one of the greatest entertainment capitals in the world. The launch of this new Aer Lingus route is a significant moment for us.”
“On behalf of all of Las Vegas, we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Aer Lingus to Las Vegas for the first time,” says Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
Last year, Vegas welcomed more than 52,000 visitors from Ireland.
The Las Vegas flight route offers easy connections for UK travelers too with convenient connecting flights via Dublin from Manchester, London, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
In Dublin travelers can complete US Immigration pre-clearance, to avoid lengthy immigration lines on arrival in the US.
