Air Canada official partner for Canada Day London 2023
Flag carrier Air Canada has been named official travel partner of Canada Day London 2023.
Canada Day London is the world’s largest international celebration of Canadian culture and takes place in Trafalgar Square on 29 June 2023.
Around 50,000 visitors are expected to attend the free event, which celebrates all things Canadian.
There will be Canadian-inspired food and drink, live music, and cultural performances.
Entry is from 11:00 am.
“This is a great opportunity for us to showcase the best of Canada in the heart of London,” said Stephen Gerrard, GM of Sales, U.K. and Ireland.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors from across the UK and around the world.”
At the Air Canada stand, guests will be greeted by flight attendants, and can see the carving of a large ice sculpture in the shape of an aircraft.
There is a photo op on the Air Canada ski chairlift and free servings of poutine for the first 500 visitors.
Poutine is a classic dish of French fries topped with cheese curds and gravy.
Visitors of Canada Day London also have a chance to win two Air Canada Economy tickets to Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary or Halifax.
They just need to complete of an online survey which can be accessed via a QR code.
Air Canada offers more daily flights from the UK to Canada than any other airline, with up to nine a day.
