Air Canada, United boost transborder flights with two new routes

Air Canada and United Airlines will offer more than 260 transborder flights a day for summer 2023.

Part of the enhanced transborder joint business agreement, the airlines have over 80 transborder codeshare routes.

Two new transborder flight routes are added this summer including a United flight between Washington-Dulles and Calgary.

Air Canada launches a Washington-Dulles – Vancouver route.

“This summer, customers have even greater choice and convenience with our joint summer schedule,” said Mark Galardo, Network Planning SVP at Air Canada.

New service between Vancouver and Washington-Dulles will begin June 1 .

United introduces a non-stop flight between Calgary and Washington-Dulles on June 2.

These are codeshare flights, allowing Aeroplan or MileagePlus members to accumulate and redeem miles.

Eligible customers and loyalty plan members will also be able to enjoy priority check-in, lounge access and priority boarding.
