ARC numbers continue to rise

ARC released its January 2005 operating results. Highlights:

• Transactions showed continued growth, up 2% over the previous January.

• E-ticketing continued to grow and reached almost 89% of ARC’s total ticketing.

• Domestic fares continued to reflect intense competition in the domestic market and were down 10%.

• International fares were 8% above the previous January.

ARC is generally known as the premier provider of data and analytic services for the travel industry.

Airlines, travel agencies, corporate travel departments, railroads and other travel suppliers process more than $60 billion annually through ARC’s settlement system.
