Attention meeting planners: price includes horses and Irish Wolfhounds
The five-star Adare Manor knows how to welcome a CEO: Riders on horseback followed by 20I Irish Wolfhounds.
“Imagine the CEO of a company or a meeting or incentive group being met at the entrance gate of Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort by riders on horseback followed by 20 Irish Woldhounds. The unusual welcoming committee then escorts the group through the expansive green parklands of the 840-acre estate to the historic Manor House where they are met by the hotel’s staff lined up outside the door and waiting to welcome them to their rooms,” says a press release.
Adds the release:
“Is there any better way to kick-off a meeting?”
Adare Manor, located near Limerick and adjacent to the Adare Village with its storied thatched roof houses, is one of western Ireland’s most exclusive 19th Century Gothic castles that is now a Five-Star hotel and golf resort.
The Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort is a five-star meeting and incentive venue that offers planners an “incredibly comprehensive” facility no matter what the size or purpose of the event, the site says.
Events range from golf competitions on the Robert Trend Jones Sr.-designed golf course to teambuilding activities that include fly fishing, archery and others.
The Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort provides a total of 5,467 square feet of function space, which can accommodate groups from 20 to 250.
Complimentary broadband Internet access is available in all meeting rooms and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment can also be arranged.
The hotel also features a business centre, which is complimentary and fully operational 24 hours a day with high-speed Internet access.
Adare provides planners with a central location from which they can offer day trips or post-meeting excursions to most of western Ireland’s top attractions, according to hotel officials.
