Attitude Hotels launches Mauritius hospitality academy

This year marks a strategic turning point for Attitude Hotels, Mauritius as the hotel group is set to celebrate its 15th anniversary.

It has a number of ongoing developments planned as Vincent Desvaux de Marigny becomes the new CEO.

He takes the helm as CEO of Attitude Hospitality Management Ltd, replacing founder Jean-Michel Pitot.

Pitot will now focus on the group’s ventures in Mauritius and the surrounding region as Group CEO.

“Our strategic direction is clear: to promote responsible, inclusive, and engaged tourism, regardless of the destination where we open our doors,” de Marigny says.

The Attitude Academy VET by EHL launched, which aims to inspire the next generation of hospitality workers.

It will help to create job opportunities to retain island talent.

In a new collaboration, it joined forces with leading hotel school EHL Group, to create a training academy in Mauritius.

This partnership will form Attitude Academy VET by EHL, a new vocational education and training (VET) facility in Mauritius which launched this week.

Three courses will be available to students: Culinary, F&B Service or Hotel Rooms Division.

Additionally, the company is soon set to become a BCorp.

The eco-committed hotels are now in the final stages of BCorp certification

Attitude is now developing its first property on the African continent, in Zanzibar, and is targeting a launch in May 2025.

Attitude Hotels operates eight 3*and 4-star Mauritius hotels (four family friendly and four adults only) in Mauritius.

These include Tropical Attitude, The Ravenala Attitude, and Zilwa Attitude plus the 75-room 5-star property, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel
