Azamara world cruise explores Easter Island
Azamara Cruises just celebrated a historic moment as latest ship Azamara Onward made its maiden call to Easter Island during its 2024 world cruise.
This marked the cruise line’s first-ever call to the remote island.
Easter Island’s is famed as a mysterious island of volcanoes, lush grasslands and the moai statues.
There are nearly 1,000 statues scattered throughout the island.
Easter Island, or Rapa Nui, is one of the most isolated places in the world.
Azamara’s next call to Easter Island will be on the cruise line’s 2026 World Cruise which is now open for bookings.
Easter Island is one of the many destinations on the 155-night world cruise, exploring more than 35 countries.
Azamara’s 2026 World Cruise offers 55 late nights and overnights, and 60 Extended Destination Days.
