Belize Tourism launches travel agent rewards
Belize Tourism Board (BTB has announced the official launch of its ‘unBelizeable Rewards’ Travel Agent Rewards programme.
It has been designed to support and is tailored exclusively for travel agents to promote and increase bookings to Belize.
The programme is now open to all travel agents in the UK.
Agents can earn points for every confirmed booking they submit via the unBelizeableRewards.com platform.
They will then able to redeem their points for reward nights at Belize hotels.
Participating properties include Alaia Belize, Autograph Collection, The Lodge at Chaa Creek, Naia Resort and Spa.
It also includes four Muy’Ono Resorts – Thatch Caye, Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge, Hopkins Bay, The Placencia, The Lodge at Jaguar Reef and The Rainforest Lodge at Sleeping Giant.
“We hugely appreciate our travel advisor community. They’re some of our greatest allies, said Evan Tillett, Belize’s Director of Tourism.
“We wanted to create a programme that would allow for us to build a better relationship with them, and provide the support they need.”
To further educate UK Travel Agents on the Belize tourism portfolio, it has launched the Belize Specialist Programme.
In collaboration with Online Travel Training, it comprises four modules and takes just 20 minutes to complete.
The training will give travel agents valuable insights and knowledge to sell the destination.
Agents will learn about Belize’s events, gastronomy, Maya sites and marine life.
The Belize Tourism course also provides an understanding of the country’s culture, history, and local customs.
There is practical information on transport, accommodations and popular activities.
