Blue Lagoon extends kids cruise free offer
Blue Lagoon Cruises has extended a ‘kids cruise free’ package for up to three children sharing two cabins with two adults until 15 December 2007.
Valid for travel from now until 30 June 2008 the offer applies to all of the boutique island cruise specialist’s four and seven-day ‘Gold Club’ Yasawa Island cruises.
A single child 15 years and under sharing a cabin with parents also qualifies for the free cruise offer.
The special applies to four and seven-day ‘Gold Club’ cruises only.
Per adult prices for a four-day cruise start from $1290* includes all meals, accommodation, cruise and cultural activities.
Blue Lagoon Cruises’ crew are highly experienced with the company’s younger passengers and all cruise programs offer special facilities for children.
The company also operates a dedicated ‘Captain’s Club’ children’s program during the school holiday periods which offers bushwalking and snorkel safaris, water sports, beach games and cultural activities.
The ‘Captain’s Club’ also operates when there are six children or more on board the cruises.
Blue Lagoon Cruises’ Director Commercial Operations, Josefa Tuamoto said while the company’s ships changed location every day, only a few hours of each day were actually spent underway.
“The rest of the time we spend anchored in sheltered lagoons or ashore and this gives the younger passengers – and some of the older ones too – ample opportunity to go exploring, play water sports and volleyball, swim, snorkel or collect coconuts.
“All their parents have to do is sit back and relax,” he said.
