Boeing factory tour reopens
Tickets are once again on sale for tours of the Boeing Everett Factory.
The tour takes visitors through the inner workings of the world’s largest manufacturing building.
Guests will see the Boeing 777 assembly line and the network of underground tunnels.
The Boeing Future of Flight facility is now open with new guest enhancements.
These include an updated tour route and accompanying visual components throughout the experience.
Over the past 50 years, the tour has welcomed more than six million visitors.
It takes visitors from the Boeing Future of Flight Museum to the Everett factory, where tens of thousands of employees support the aircraft production.
Visitors will tour the site’s underground system of factory tunnels and visit an observation balcony with a sweeping view of the 777 assembly line.
The factory holds the Guinness World Record as the largest building in the world by volume, spanning 98.3 acres with a footprint of more than 98 million cubic feet.
It has played a pivotal role in production of iconic Boeing aircraft, including the 747, 767, 777 and 787 Dreamliner.
Visitors will also be able to explore the Boeing Future of Flight Museum, which spans Boeing’s 107-year story with interactive experiences, programmes and tours with a mission to educate and inspire adults and children alike.
Guests can also enjoy the Gallery, Sky Deck and flagship Boeing Store.
“We are thrilled to reopen our factory tour experience,” said Christi Medlyn, Boeing Future of Flight GM.
“With the rebound in tourism, we are pleased to once again share this exclusive look into one of the world’s most interesting factories.”
Factory Tour tickets are available for purchase online at BoeingFutureofFlight.com or in-person at Boeing Future of Flight.
