Budapest Airport welcomes two new China routes
Budapest Airport has welcomed two new China routes in the past week with the debut of direct Guangzhou-Budapest and Xi’an-Budapest flights.
Together with the upcoming Budapest-Shenzhen route in August, there will be a total of seven direct Budapest flights to and from China.
With this, Ferenc Liszt International Airport offers the most extensive route network to China from East-Central Europe.
It will also benefit travelers flying beyond China to the rest of Asia, as well as New Zealand and Australia.
It will bring the number of flights between China and Hungary to 20 per week.
The two new China-Budapest flights are operated by China Southern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines / China Eastern Airlines.
“The two new Budapest flights just launched further strengthen Sino-Hungarian aviation relations, which will benefit both passengers and the Hungarian economy,” said Francois Berisot, CEO, Budapest Airport.
The upcoming Shenzhen-Budapest route will be operated by Hainan Airlines starting in early August
