Bradford Tourism home to the Bulls, Bronte, Hockney, the Alhambra theatre and the national film museum have selected OmniTourism’s Integra DMS suite to provide core business functionality for their new look destination.

Resident too many of the United Kingdom’s largest and most popular attractions, the West Yorkshire City of Bradford receives in excess of 8 Million visitors each year. This number is growing, as more and more visitors are impressed by the comprehensive nature of attractions that are easily accessible.

The ethnic mix adds to the variety of life in Bradford and visitors are by no means immune to this. Bradford has one of the largest ranges of ethnic cuisine in the World ranging from exotic Indian dishes through to a full English breakfast. Utilising the wealth of local resource top quality food and drink is served throughout the area.

The Bradford district is of course home to some of the worlds leading artists and writers. David Hockney was born just a few miles away from Saltaire Village, which in itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once you add to this mix Bronte, the wealth of modern art and literature is clear to see.

Gina Glot, Bradford’s Urban Centres Manager was well aware that they needed a market-leading system to ensure that word of Bradford’s rich visitor collateral was easily spread across the electronic world and equally to maximise visitor spend and satisfaction. ‘The Bradford area is undergoing change at this time and the changes are focussing on improving the attraction and quality of what the area has to offer to both visitor and local resident alike. We have an enormous amount to offer and we need to ensure we are achieving maximum return on our spend for the community to benefit. We believe that the OmniTourism system will help us to achieve this.’

OmniTourism already partner with the majority of Yorkshire Tourism authorities such as Harrogate and the Dales, Hull, Wakefield, Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Sheffield and Ryedale. ’We feel we are in good company here in Yorkshire as the OmniTourism will make it easier for us to promote the district across the region and will link us directly to the Visit Britain site’ added Patricia Tillotson, Bradford District TIC manager.
