Business class meta search site created
A meta-search platform dedicated to business class flights has been created by Global Travel Market.
BizClassTravelMarket.com is targeting the global growth in passengers choosing to fly in premium cabins.
It follows the development of a new breed of all-business class carriers and news that traditional carriers such as Virgin Atlantic plan to launch business class-only services.
Users will be able to compare the availability and prices of business class flights in real time from online travel agents and airlines direct.
The site features more than 400 airlines who offer business class, including British Airways, KLM, Virgin Atlantic, Emirates and Silverjet.
Online travel agents who will provide fares for comparision include, Thomas Cook, Airline Network, Ebookers, Travelbag, Opodo, Lastminute.com, and from other countries online travel agents including Orbitz, and Cheaptickets from the US, BestFlights from Australia
BizClassTravelMarket.com has secured Silverjet as a launch partner for the site.
The site includes the ability to compare each airline’s business class product, from check-in times to the seat pitch available.
Business travellers will also be able to write their own reviews while a blog section will further allow them to post comments.
The flight search comparison site is the first to be launched by the company that is product specific as opposed to geographically targeted.
Founder Dave Simmons said: “BizClassTravelMarket.com is another example of how Global Travel Market is applying the power of meta-search to niche markets.
“Targeting niche markets enables us to add value to the user experience through adding rich content and functionality specific to the niche market, whilst adding value to our advertising partners through targeting high value markets that are otherwise difficult to reach through traditional online platforms.”
