Expert cruise agents are being given a dedicated section within the Complete Cruise Solution online training programme.
The Club Lounge section of the Waves of Wisdom programme is designed to encourage agents to progress through the basic levels of cruise knowledge to reach expert status, giving exclusive access to bonus training material to enchance their cruise sales technique and volume.
Agents can link to the CCS team blog and the blog for each of the CCS brands – P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Ocean Village and Cunard.
More games and competitions are featured in the section. Agents also have exclusive access to the training modules for new ships Azura and Queen Elizabeth.
CCS head of sales Mark Pilkington said that more than 12,000 agents are registered for the online training and regularly log on.
“In the current market conditions we are all having to work that much harder to secure bookings and drive the growth of the cruise market and we know that training and supporting agents will be the single biggest factor of our success,” he said.
“We want to show agents exactly why they should be selling our product and that we are more invested and committed to them than ever – this development in our training programme is just one more way that we are doing this.”
The Azura module is available now with Queen Elizabeth coming soon. The modules contain detailed product descriptions, passenger profiles and cabin features for each ship.
To mark the launch of the Azura module, agents visiting the Club Lounge can enter four weekly competitions to win celebrity chef Atul Kochhar candles and signed copies of his Indian Essence book, sommelier corkscrew sets plus bottle of wine recommended by expert Olly Smith, sets of wine glasses and £20 cinema tickets.
Each entry will be entered into a grand prize draw to win a spa day for two people, a Nintendo Wii, a case of wine recommended by Olly Smith and one of five Samsung P1000 digital cameras.
