Celestyal unveils ‘Iconic Arabia’ shore excursions
Celestyal has released details of the shore excursion programme for its new-for-2025 ‘Iconic Arabia’ itineraries.
Both Celestyal ships operate the winter season on Arabian Gulf cruises from 2025, with Celestyal Journey homeporting in Doha from November this year, and Celestyal Discovery joining and homeporting from Abu Dhabi the following year.
The three- and four-night cruises, sailing round-trip from Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi, are available from December 2025 through to February 2026, and December 2026 through to February 2027.
The three-night option visits the ports of Doha, Qatar and Sir Bani Yas Island, UAE and has 25 shore excursions available to book now.
The four-night option takes in Fujairah, UAE, Muscat and Khasab, Oman with 34 tours available.
The programme is made up of a range of half and full day options and includes seven of the cruise line’s premium ‘Authentic Encounters’, providing unique experiences with local people and attractions,
Group sizes are limited to 12 guests or fewer.
Three-night ‘Iconic Arabia’ highlights include:
‘Get closer to nature’ – Exploring the natural beauty of the Arabian Wildlife Park on Sir Bani Yas Island. Half-day tour from £76pp.
‘Off road quest to an inland sea’ – cross the desert and see the unique inland sea of Doha. Half-day tour from £66pp.
‘Art, Culture and Afternoon Tea’ – guests can explore the architecture and vibrant exhibitions of Katara Cultural Village, followed by afternoon tea. Half-day tour from £84pp.
‘Explore the Icons of Abu Dhabi’ – a cultural deep dive into the city’s architecture, including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Qasr Al Watan Palace. Half-day from £66pp.
‘The Ultimate F1 Grand Prix Experience’ – motorsport fans can take an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Yas Marina Circuit. Half-day from £69pp.
Four-night ‘Iconic Arabia’ highlights include:
‘Fujairah & Khorfakkan Traditions’ – guests experience the local culture and traditions firsthand on this ‘Authentic Encounter’ tour including Bait Sheikh Saeed bin Hamad Al Qasimi’s house, the Fujairah Sheikh Zayed Mosque and the Fujairah Museum Fort. Full-day tour from £138pp.
‘Snorkelling with Turtles’ – a close-up ‘Authentic Encounter’ with Fujairah’s vibrant marine life. Half-day from £103pp.
‘Discover, Connect & Cook’ – in Muscat, guests can enjoy a culinary journey visiting Muttrah Fish market, a visit to local women’s association called as Sidab Women Sewing group and the chance to take part in a cooking lesson at the National Hospitality Institute. Half-day from £125pp.
‘Flying Fox Zipline’ – adventurous travellers can test their courage in Khasab, on this ‘Authentic Encounter’ over scenic landscapes on the world’s longest zipline over water. Half-day from £86pp.
The ‘Iconic Arabia’ itinerary is available to book from £249pp for three nights, £309pp for four nights and includes onboard dining, select drinks with meals and £65pp shore excursion discount.
