China Southern launching new Doha flights
China Southern Airlines has unveiled a new upcoming route to Doha, Qatar from Guangzhou.
Qatar Airways’ codeshare partner China Southern will operate four weekly Doha flights from 22 April 2024 on Boeing 787 aircraft.
China Southern Airlines is one of China’s largest airlines and operates around 3,000 daily flights to more than 200 destinations.
The launch of the new Doha flights cements its cooperation with Qatar Airways.
China Southern is Qatar Airways’ third codeshare partner in China, alongside oneworld partner Cathay Pacific and Xiamen Airlines.
The new flights will connect passengers to Qatar Airways’ global network of over 170 destinations via Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
Qatar Airways Group CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said: “This strategic partnership between our two airlines is our commitment to develop traffic to and from China.”
China Southern Airlines’ new Doha flights complement Qatar Airways’ existing daily flight between Doha and Guangzhou.
The new flights are available to book now.
