CMV offers December discounts
CMV is offering discounts on December bookings for its Amazon & Caribbean cruise leaving January and its Northern Lights cruise next March.
The last few cabins are available on the Marco Polo leaving Tilbury January 3 for a 42 night voyage to the Amazon, West Indies and Azores.
Cruise and Maritime Voyages is offering ocean view cabins for £3599 for the first person and £1799 for the second person. Other categories of cabins are also available.
And book before 21 December for a ‘Buy One Get One Free’ deal on a 2013 ‘maximum solar’ Northern Lights cruise.
CMV has a Land of the Northern Lights cruise leaving London Tilbury on March 14, 2013 which now has Sortland, in Norway, added to the itinerary.
BOGOF deals are available on a range of cabins.
The Aurora Borealis displays tend to occur in 11-year cycles of sunspot activity. The next maximum in solar activity will be in 2013, with frequent Northern Lights displays likely and among the best places in Norway to witness this phenomenon are two of the ports of call, Alta and Tromso.
