Colorado ski resort has “striking†features
If you tire of skiing at the Breckenridge Resort, how about trying some bowling at alleys that resemble mine shafts or swim in an aquatic center with pools or take in an on-site spa property?
The Colorado Resort says it is the only luxury property to be “first” in several areas not only to offer bowling but says it is also the first property to offer in-site environmental programs such as “Water on the Rocks,” which eliminates plastic water bottle usage and helps in recycling.
To further stimulate skiers, the resort is offering a grand opening celebration of its 49th season reduced price packages.
“One Ski Hill Place, Breckenridge’s first Rock Resort that recently opened has been recognized as one of the state’s most environmentally-friendly properties. The ski-in, ski-out property located at the base of Peak 8 in Breckenridge was certified as the Town’s first Green Globes-built property and Colorado’s highest Green Globes-rated development,” says a press release.
“One Ski Hill Place has set the bar for luxury in Breckenridge, as well as for sustainability,” said Kate Grattan, general manager for One Ski Hill Place.
The mine-themed bowling lanes are appropriate because Breckenridge is located at the base of a city that was formerly a historic mining town.
Rates of US$84 to $299 include kitchenettes with mini-refrigerators and cable television. They can accommodate up to four people.
