Contiki Holidays announce OZ and NZ program for 18 to 35s

Wednesday, 10 Apr, 2006 0

Contiki has launched its 2006/2007 Australia and New Zealand programs into the market with great, inclusive holidays priced from only $110 per day in Australia and just $102 per day in New Zealand which means fun, adventure, unforgettable experiences and value with none of the usual holiday hassles.

The new brochures showcase the best of each region with 20 Australian and seven New Zealand tours covering the Northern Territory, the East Coast of Australia, Tasmania, and the North and South Islands of New Zealand.

Tammy Marshall, Managing Director, Contiki Holidays said, “All of Contiki’s Australia and New Zealand products have been carefully designed specifically for like-minded travellers between 18 and 35. The young adult market is savvy, they are travellers who want something different. Contiki’s reputation and credibility as the leading tour operator for 18 to 35s can be attributed to our constantly evolving product that addresses the needs and desires of this market and its sub-groups.

“Our 2006/2007 Australia and New Zealand program continues to broaden with three distinct touring styles in Australia; Coach Tours, are accompanied by an experienced tour manager and driver who can point out the sights and not so known details to the group along the way; Small Group Tours, are limited to 25 travellers and are accompanied by a professional Contiki driver/guide offering the intimacy of a small group alongside the benefits of escorted touring; and City Explorers, boast added flexibility where travellers can be their own tour manager and explore independently.

“In New Zealand we have introduced the Southern Wonders tour which has been designed with an emphasis on spending more time in key areas, travelling at a relaxed pace, seeing extra attractions and enjoying superior accommodation in single and twin share only, while also taking part in the action and adventure of Contiki and New Zealand.

“At Contiki we are experts when it comes to travel, we keep our ear to the ground and we know what’s hot and what’s not in 2006 and beyond; that’s why our 2006/2007 brochures include info on not to be missed events around Australia. This is a great resource for agents and their clients ensuring travellers make the most of their trip by packaging it up to coincide with an event or activity.

“We also understand travellers value free time – this is their holiday – which is why we offer optional activities, tours that can easily be mixed and matched for maximum choice (including Australia and New Zealand combinations) and more free time for independent exploration.

“Finally, in a step to make selling Contiki even easier for travel agents we have compiled a range of juicy deals offering further discounts off the already great value price of our tours. The deals include early payment discounts, group discounts, reverse tour savings and discounts when combing more than one tour.

“Contiki offers a comprehensive program for young travellers whether they want to see Europe and the US or want to uncover all the possibilities for adventure and exploration in their own backyard, giving agents more choice when with clients”.

Every Contiki holiday includes unique accommodation, stylish transport, an experienced driver and guide, great sightseeing and many meals at one simple tour price.
