Corby sentence cut by five years

Reports from Indonesia suggest that the Bali High Court has reduced Australian Schapelle Corby’s drug smuggling sentence from 20 to 15 years.

According to AAP, the Indonesian island’s appeal court had notified her lawyer of the decision this afternoon, although he was yet to see an official document.

It is understood that Corby, who is in Kerobokan prison in Denpasar, had not yet been told of the court’s decision, according to her lawyer Mr Hotman Paris Hutapea.
