Travel industry charity Just a Drop will host the second Travel United Cup at Fulham FC’s Craven Cottage stadium.

The Travel United Cup is run in partnership with the Street Soccer Foundation.

It will return on Friday 31 May 2024 with an industry-wide national 5-a-side football tournament that brings travel businesses together.

It is sponsored by Visit Malta and Royal Caribbean Group.

Street Soccer Foundation helps to tackle youth homelessness through football.

Partner Just a Drop brings sustainable safe water, sanitation, and hygiene projects to communities around the world.

It has helped transform the lives of over 1.9 million people in 32 countries.

A team entry into the competition costs £2,500.

This can include a team of up to 20 people – 10 active players & 10 supporter/coaches and also includes access to the facilities in Craven Cottage, light food and drink, photographer capture on the day, and prizes for the winning teams.

There will also be a crossbar challenge, sponsored by Silver Travel, that players will be encouraged to take part in.

Last year, teams such as Audley Travel, Celestyal, Avis, EasyJet Holidays, Finn Partners, Golfbreaks, Royal Caribbean Group and TTG battled it out.

Golfbreaks was crowned the winner last year.

Andrew Mabbutt, who is helping put the event together, said: “It is open to everyone. Get your company to put a team in, and bring your work colleagues, family and friends along for support.”

“The chance of playing at a Premier League football stadium is an extremely rare  experience”

Tolene van der Merwe, Director, Malta Tourist Authority said “We were thrilled to be headline sponsor for the inaugural event last year and raised significant funds for two incredible charities.”

“With this year’s event being held at a Premier League football ground, it will just add to the occasion”.

Giles Hawke, VP and Managing Director, EMEA, Celebrity Cruises, added “Celebrity Cruises is delighted to join sister brands, Royal Caribbean International, and Silversea Cruises as a joint headline sponsor. We hope to see some of our fellow industry peers join us at Craven Cottage”
