CroisiEurope launches most competitive river cruising fares and product in Aus
Peter Marshall of Cruise Abroad, gsa in Australia for CroisiEurope, has released what he claims are the most competitive fares for European river cruising in 2008. The lead-in price is A$635 (US$553) twin-share for a four-day round cruise from Seville to Cadiz along the Guadalquivir River [on the MS Belle De Cadix – pictured right] and the single supplement for the five ‘Andalusian Break’ departures during February and March is A$185 (US$161). Peter Marshall told The Mole that there are 58 departures between March and October for the five-day ‘Rhine Valley and Lorelei Rock’ round cruise from Strasbourg which costs only A$955 (US$833), with a single supplement of A$257 (US$224). He added, “I challenge any operator to beat that price and the fabulous quality. Marshall, who is currently distributing the 2008 brochure to top cruise sellers around Australia, said CroisiEurope is the biggest and most prestigious European river cruise company with 25 ships carrying between 100 and 180 passengers. He added that the family-owned French company Gerard Schmitter founded in Strasbourg in 1976 as Alsace Croisieres and renamed in 1997 to reflect its expansion, also offers the largest range of cruises, with 76 itineraries next year. [Pictured left: the MS Camargue] Marshall said CroisiEurope has a fleet of 26 Prestige category boats with cabins, which ply the most beautiful rivers in Europe, with the boats spacious and light, they offer a welcoming and refined setting. Accommodation capacity varies from 100 to 180 passengers depending on the boat’s design and at the cutting edge of technology, their facilities offer excellent comfort and safety. He added, carefully maintained and partially renovated each year, the CroisiEurope fleet is largely made up of recently built vessels, less than five years old, all with Veritas certification, [pictured right the MS Renoir at night] with Croisi the leading European river tour operator, the company owes its international reputation to its seriousness, its dynamism, its sense of innovation and its recognised value for money of long standing. Marshall also said that Criosi offered Australians an unique opportunity to travel Europe with a range of other nationalities, not just Aussies with the excitement for travelling with other cultures and languages, surely part of the excitement of a European river cruise holiday.” For more information visit www.cruiseabroad.com.au, call 02 9900 7200 or email [email protected] A Report by The Mole |
