More business sessions have been added to next month’s ACE UK Cruise Convention.
Due to visits to NCL’s Norwegian Epic and Compagnie du Ponant’s Le Boreal having sold out, agents can attend additional sessions.
ACE director Flo Powell (pictured) said visits to QM2 and Azura were also close to being full.
But she stressed that all agents attending the conference will have an opportunuty to see Norwegian Epic and Celebrity Eclipse as lunches for delegates were being hosted on both new ships.
The new sessions include how to market themselves as ‘cruise agents of choice’, how to get the best out of networking opportunities and how to sell with additional confidence – all designed to improve the customer experience and increase the number of cruise sales.
Law firm partner Joanna Kolatsis, director of Cruise Baltic Bo Larsen and training and development consultant Debbee Dale will be hosting the additional sessions.
There are limited places available for visits to Crown Princess (June 23), Cunard’s QM2 and P&O Cruises’ Azura (June 25) and Celebrity Eclipse (June 26). The new Celebrity Cruises’ ship will be the venue for training sessions and also host the closing convention ceremony and ACE Awards presentation.
The three day event is being held in Southampton on June 24-26.
An eve of convention drinks reception is taking place at Carnival House hosted by Complete Cruise Solution and on Thursday, delegates will see “X Factor” singer Stacey Soloman at the Oceana Club.
On Friday a black tie gala dinner at the QEII terminal will feature a 007 theme with a special Shirley Bassey tribute performance and where delegates can try their luck at the casino tables.
Three day Convention passes are £70 for ACE members and £80 for non-members.
