Teletext Holidays is to provide readers of the Daily Mail, the Mail on Sunday and other group titles with exclusive cruise offers.
This follows an exclusive deal signed with parent company Daily Mail & General Trust (DMGT) A&N Media
It will enable Teletext Holidays to target a greater share of the cruise market.
Monthly eight-page cruise supplements will appear from March 1 as well as weekly cruise adverts in both papers and online support.
The Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday are seen as two of the most powerful publications for generating cruise sales with the titles claiming their readers make up 43% of the potential cruise market.
Research shows that their readers have taken more cruises and more are planning a cruise holiday than any other UK media readership, according to the company.
A dedicated cruise department within Teletext Holidays’ own retail division was established eight months ago.
Teletext Holidays managing director Victoria Sanders said: “This is a significant and exciting move for us and makes us a much bigger player in the cruise market.
“This sort of partnership plays to our strengths as a media company which specialises in travel.
“By providing exclusive offers for such a large and valuable readership we can make our mark on this sector of the travel industry.
“We’ll be creating inspiring editorial content combined with attractive offers to drive bookings. We are excited by the possibilities.”
Sanders confirmed that cruise is generating high volumes of sales and is performing ahead of targets.
She added: “Cruise is an area we want to invest in and grow.
“We are creating new pages and content on our website and on our television channel available on freeview 101.
“We will make the content colourful and practical so it’s easy for people to research and book a cruise holiday whether they are planning one for the first time or they’re an experienced cruise traveller.”
A&N Media head of enterprise Richard Breeden said: “Travel is already a very successful sector for us which delivers significant revenues and this new partnership will increase these and our long term connection with our customers across A&N Media.”
