CSI Media now certified to build and support Sitecore solutions

After successfully becoming Umbraco certified in 2015, CSI Media have continued to partner up with some of the world’s leading CMS providers by becoming certified in Sitecore XP 8.0, a CMS ideal for companies of any size in the travel industry.

Richard Nash, the Business Director at CSI Media, has described the merits of building a travel website using Sitecore:

"Sitecore is a heavy weight content management system (CMS) which can be used to develop websites for a vast array of industries, but with its range of intelligent marketing features it is ideal for travel. CSI Media feel that Sitecore is perfect for larger travel companies with bigger online budgets as it provides a powerful CMS that allows website administrators to have full control over virtually all aspects of their site. We are already Umbraco certified which is a fantastic solution, but by taking on Sitecore as a partner, we should be more than prepared for all future project and client needs."

Sitecore websites have the advantage of a great code base to build upon which can be made fully customisable making it ideal for companies looking to create something unique. As you would expect travel companies will have full control of their content, and editing their website can be done from absolutely anywhere at any time, as long as they have access to the internet, but what makes Sitecore stand out is the intelligence it provides in serving up relevant offers at the appropriate time to site visitors. It is a merchandisers dream.

Current companies that have websites based on the Sitecore CMS include easyJet, who have been very vocal in their praise of Sitecore. It allows them to quickly update the site to take advantage of various marketing opportunities and to upsell to their clientele intelligently. James Millet, Head of Digital at easyJet had the following to say:

"For a start, the sheer power of the tool out of the box has transformed the way we can change the site to react quickly to external factors. For example, during the recent wet spell we had a series of ad banners encouraging users to escape the rain – such a simple premise but very difficult to achieve quickly before we implemented Sitecore. This power, coupled to the dynamic pricing and the increasing levels of personalization the site is beginning to offer, means we are able to offer ever-more relevant content to our visitors which help us drive our brand values"

Sitecore comes with many pre-built features and functionality right off the bat. As well as the features previously mentioned, you can also expect to find:

The Sitecore content repository -The central location for all of your content channels and campaign, providing storage and access to content from one place in real time.

Multilingual content management – Allows editors to create new content in any language and work in their native language to ensure a consistent global message. Easily integrates with language translation services.

Website visit simulation – Lets you simulate real-time interactions by persona and without having to guess how different personas will experience your site.

Display-agnostic – Allows you to manage and customize your content for each and every experience so that content is automatically served in the format best sized and suited for a user’s device.

Multisite support – For enterprise customers who want to share content across thousands of sites and deliver consistent customer experience on every property.

Code-free content creation  – Gives editors the flexibility to create content inline, right on a web page, or leverage more robust features for workflow control, metadata management, and multi-channel page layout—no coding needed.

Real-time delivery – Sitecore leverages unlimited experience data to present the most relevant content for every unique visitor, visitor type, or persona—on the fly. Text, rich media, forms, social media widgets, promotions, recommendations, and more can all be personalized based on rules, workflows, or even a visitor’s device or location.
