Cyprair chooses Call-link
The tour operator subsidiary of Cyprus Airlines, Cyprair, has chosen Call-link to supply its voice solutions.
Call-link has installed 20 premium rate 0870 numbers which cover reservations, faxlines, ticketing and administration.
Call-link head of marketing, Peter Whittle told TravelMole: “Specialist software enables our sales people to install premium rate numbers in minutes, whereas it could take a larger firm weeks to set that up. There are also considerable cost savings to be made. We can cut the cost of calls to mobile phones by up to 40% from the likes of BT”.
Call-link launched Magic Desktop at WTM 2001, which is now installed in over 2,500 desktops in the UK, including Hogg Robinson and homeworkers Future Travel. The website enables access to ViewData in addition to other flights, car rental options, and weather and visa information.
Mr Whittle told TravelMole: “We are in talks with Cyprair to sign them up with other Call-link solutions such as Magic Desktop”.
Cyprair sells package holidays to Cyprus, departing from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester, East Midlands, and Belfast.
