Delta Air Lines said it took a $100 million hit as a result of last month’s computer outage.
The IT glitch forced Delta to cancel 2,300 flights over three days.
Passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) fell 9.5% last month but Delta puts just 2% of that directly down to the system error.
The rest was down to intensified competition with budget carriers and an oversupply of seats on transatlantic routes.
On-time performance also suffered, down to 79.9% compared to 85.5% a year earlier.
We are grateful to our customers for continuing to rely on Delta for the superior customer service and operational performance you’ve come to expect from us," Ed Bastian, Delta Air Lines CEO said in a media release.
"Our recovery effort exemplified the hard work and determination of Delta people worldwide, and all 80,000 remain dedicated to regaining your trust."
