Qatar Airways’ destination management company, Discover Qatar is launching a new way to see Doha from a different perspective.

‘Discover Doha by Air’ is a unique aerial tour exploring Qatar.

The tour offers travellers the opportunity to view the iconic landmarks from the air in a light aircraft.

Each Doha air tour can accommodate eight passengers in a Cessna 208 Caravan, a single-engine light turboprop plane.

It is designed with large windows for optimal aerial viewing.

Each passenger has headphones to clearly hear the pilot’s in-flight commentary during the Doha air tour flight.

Discover Qatar SVP, Steven Reynolds, said: “This is an unforgettable journey around Doha’s skies, soaring above the landscapes and cultural treasures.”

The air tour lasts 45 minutes, departing from Doha International Airport’s Premium Terminal.

It flies over Al Thumama Stadium, Aspire Zone and Education City and then move towards Lusail Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium and Thakira Mangrove Forest.

The journey continues with flybys over The Pearl Island, Al Safliya Island, Katara Cultural Village and West Bay.

The Doha air tour concludes after flying over the Corniche, National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Islamic Art and Stadium 974.

The first tour is scheduled for 27 June 2024, and booking is now available at discoverqatar.qa/air .

Guests can also pair their air tour with Discover Qatar return airport transfers to and from Doha International Airport Premium Terminal.

The experience is also available for passengers transiting for six or more hours at Hamad International Airport with a starting price of QAR850, including private return transfers to and from Doha International Airport Premium Terminal.
