DMC Pinpoint Britain rolls out new themed tours for US market
UK-based DMC Pinpoint Britain is rolling out a series of new special interest itineraries specifically for the American market.
The new themed tours focus on the historical and cultural ties between North America and England, featuring historical, cultural and heritage-rich destinations across England.
It is a timely launch says Tricia Handley-Hughes, director of Pinpoint Britain, with this year being the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings and 2020 marking the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower sailing.
Tours are customized around the D-Day special relationships and the Mayflower sailing as well as multi-generational tours, royalty and film and TV themes.
"As part of this new product offering, we have crafted a series of unique, tailored made itineraries that will take visitors on an immersive journey," Handley-Hughes said.
"We are excited that our product has been selected by the US Connections project and that we are one of its chosen travel partners."
US Connections is a major collaboration between 13 destinations led by Destination Plymouth to develop new English-themed visitor experiences targeted specifically to Americans, ahead of the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower’s historic voyage from Plymouth.
Pinpoint Britain themed itineraries are suitable for groups, family and individual travelers and include all accommodations, transfers, tour guides and entrance to visitor attractions.
