EasyCruise takes the plunge with first TV ads
EasyCruise is to run its first TV advertising push as it prepares to introduce a second ocean-going ship to its fleet.
The six-week campaign is due to run from Boxing Day on Channel 4, E4, UKTV Style and UKTV Dave.
The ads come in advance of 500-passenger easyCruise Life, which has more than double the capacity of the company’s existing vessel, joining the fleet on April 19 to run a new itinerary to a six Greek islands and Bodrum in Turkey. Prices start at £70 room-only for seven-nights.
Facilities will include a pool, bar, restaurant, spa, sauna, sun decks, wellness zone, chill out zone and shops.
Original ship EasyCruiseOne will continue with its Greek itineraries, including a seven-night ‘Classical Greece’ cruise, four-night ‘Aegean Escape’ and a 10-night ‘Ionian Sea’ itinerary.
The TV campaign is the first for easyCruise, which traditionally has used online media and print to advertise.
Founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou said: “The new TV campaign is designed to combat the misconceptions that some consumers have about the brand.
“What we wanted to make absolutely clear is that easyCruise is unique among cruise lines. As well as offering independent travellers great itineraries to some of the best locations in Greece, we give them more time in each place including every night to enjoy a great destination.”
