ECN adds three new expedition cruise members
South Pacific line Aranui Cruises has joined as the new member of the Expedition Cruise Network (ECN).
Aranui’s mixed cargo-passenger itineraries serve Polynesia, including Bora Bora, numerous remote islands, plus the Austral and Pitcairn Islands.
“We look forward to benefit from greater visibility and qualified audiences, by directly reaching travel trade professionals,” said Romina Wong, Executive Director Aranui Cruises.
Aranui joined Aqua Expeditions, and Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours as a trio of new member lines was announced by ECN.
It brings the total of cruise operators in the network to 23.
Aqua Expeditions operates river explorations cruises on the Amazon (Peru), the Mekong (Cambodia and Vietnam), and coastal yacht voyages in the Galapagos Islands (Ecuador) and central and eastern Indonesia.
Ultra-luxury expedition cruise line Scenic launched its first Discovery Yacht in 2019, with a second ship joining the fleet in 2023. .
The yachts are purpose-built to the highest Polar standards.
Scenic Eclipse has two on board helicopters, a submarine, a spa, gym and up to 10 dining experiences.
