Elite to co-ordinate ‘back to basics’ Midlands trade ball

Elite Travel Group has stepped in to act as co-ordinator for a Midlands travel trade summer ball.
The “back to basics event” is to take place on September 2 at the Marriott Forest of Arden, Meriden and will be open to all agents and suppliers.
Costs will be kept to a minimum at £75 per ticket or £700 for a table of 10.
Wendy Albutt, co-ordinator for the event, said: "This in no way is an Elite Travel Group event – I have been asked by people within the industry to organise something within the Midlands and that is what I’ve done."
She added: “The evening will be set in a private marquee with all the trimmings.
“There will be no awards, no speeches, just a pure networking fun evening – a night to remember.
“There will also be a golf tournament during the same day, so all golfers are encouraged to play for an additional £75 per place’.
A theme for the evening is to be announced later.
