EMIRATES AIRLINE SELECTS NEXGEN TO DEVELOP INTELLIGENT E-COMMERCE SOLUTIONS
Leading travel platform to power Emirates consumer direct and B2B websites
NEXGEN Travel Distribution Inc, a sophisticated travel distribution platform, today announced it has signed an agreement with Emirates, an award winning airline, for innovative internet booking engine services.
NEXGEN’s rapidly expanding core technology platform enables inventory control through its Back Office, and inventory distribution featuring intelligent packaging with the Front Office. The platform drives ancillary revenue by bundling multiple product offerings, such as accommodation, flights, ground transfers, activities, rentals, insurance, and merchandise. The intelligent package features one price inclusive of all offerings, yet is modifiable real time.
NEXGEN’s internet based technology will enable Emirates.com visitors to purchase intelligent travel packages, and will be used to activate Emirates sponsorship of highly complex and geographically dispersed sporting events. The NEXGEN platform delivers an unrivalled experience through one the largest databases in the world featuring in excess of 150,000 unique hotels across 34,000 destinations.
