Emirates is to put an A380 aircraft on its daily non-stop services between Dubai and Auckland from October 30.
An A380 was used for the very first flight on this route when it launched on March 1, but flights have since been operated by the Boeing 777-200LR.
It already flies A380s on its three daily flights from Auckland to Dubai via Australia, and a Boeing 777-300ER on its daily flights from Christchurch.
Operating eastbound as flight EK448, the service will depart Dubai at 10:05am and arrive in Auckland the following day at 11:10am local time.
Westbound, flight EK449 will leave Auckland each night at 9:15pm, arriving in Dubai the following morning at 5:35am local time connecting with Emirates’ 39 European destinations.
