Emirates Park Towers Hotel & Spa

Emirates Hotels & Resorts, the Emirates Group’s premier hospitality division, has unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio of five-star properties at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai. The stunning Emirates Park Towers Hotel & Spa, with 77-storied twin towers, will be a commanding focal point of Dubai’s upcoming Business Bay.

With its glittering green towers soaring 395 metres above Business Bay and Sheikh Zayed Road, the superbly-equipped luxury hotel and apartment complex will be one of the world’s five tallest hotel buildings.

Set to become a new Dubai landmark, it will also establish new standards of hospitality in line with Emirates Hotels & Resorts’ vision of exceptional service, the best possible location in any destination, and remarkable, luxurious facilities.

Futuristic in design, the building will break new architectural ground with sky terraces and cantilevered rooms projecting out of the towers – giving them a distinctive stepped appearance. The massive complex represents an investment of Dhs 1.8 billion (US$ 490 million).

Emirates Park Hotel & Towers, offering panoramic views from more than 900 guest rooms and 300 serviced apartments, will overlook Business Bay with its Burj Al Arab Tower centrepiece on one side; and the new creek extension leading to Jumeirah Beach on the other.

Located behind Dnata Travel Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road, and flanked by parks and waterways, it will also be connected to Dubai International Airport, Dubai city and Jebel Ali by the new monorail link.

Originally conceived as a single tower construction, its design and location were reconfigured to cover a plot of 20,000 square metres, after plans for the route of the new creek to create Business Bay were altered.

Emirates Park Towers Hotel & Spa, scheduled for completion in 2010, will be a showcase property of Emirates Hotels & Resorts, Emirates Group’s luxury hospitality management division which owns and manages award-winning luxury conservation resorts, spas, and fully-serviced upmarket apartment accommodation.

Hans Haensel, Divisional Senior Vice President, Emirates’ Destination & Leisure Management, told the ATM press conference: “Emirates Park Towers Hotel & Spa is a fitting addition to the Emirates Hotels & Resorts portfolio, and will become a remarkable and iconic part of Dubai’s skyline.”

He added: “The dramatic design of this superb complex, together with the vast range of superior facilities it will contain, vividly demonstrates both the dynamic spirit of Dubai, and the commitment of Emirates Hotels & Resorts to provide the ultimate in hospitality services.”

The hotel and apartment complex is designed to contain 20 restaurants, rooftop bars, a major entertainment centre, banqueting and ballroom capabilities, conference facilities and – as with other Emirates Hotels & Resorts properties – the division’s luxury Timeless Spa brand.

Emirates Hotels & Resorts is focussed on three key elements of service, luxury and location, a successful combination that has already delivered awards for its flagship property,  Emirates Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa. The Emirates Hotels & Resorts brand is used throughout the portfolio, enhancing properties with the internationally-recognisable Emirates quality ethos.

The division will invest a total of Dhs 2.4 billion (US$ 652 million) in new projects over the next four years; add 1,700 hotel rooms and apartments to Dubai; and directly employ more than 2,500 staff, with emphasis on hiring and training of U.A.E. nationals.
