Etihad Airways Announces Brisbane Celebration Fares

Etihad Airways, has today announced special fares to celebrate the launch of services to Brisbane on 29 September 2007, with the promotional fares offering excellent value to Queensland’s leisure and business travellers.

The special airfares start from: $899 from Brisbane to Singapore and $1887 from Brisbane to London Heathrow, with the range of special fares from both Brisbane and Sydney on sale until 31 August 2007, covering travel from 10 July – 30 November 2007.

All fares are inclusive of all taxes, levies and surcharges correct at 10 July 2007.

From 29 September 2007, Etihad will operate three flights-a-week from Brisbane, to Abu Dhabi via Singapore and these services will provide Australian business and leisure travellers with a frequent service to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and onwards to 44 destinations worldwide including Europe, North America, Africa and Asia and the Middle East.

Brisbane will be Etihad’s second destination in Australia following the highly successful launch of services to Sydney in March and Etihad will operate a two cabin Airbus A330-200 between Abu Dhabi and Brisbane configured to carry 262 passengers, with 22 in business class and 240 in economy.

Etihad now offers daily services, non-stop from Sydney to Abu Dhabi.
