EventConnect.com.au teams up with Virgin Blue
Virgin Blue is getting serious about the corporate market, this week launching a multi-million dollar campaign to grow its share of the lucrative business travel sector.
As part of the campaign Virgin Blue has created a new website (www.virginblue.com.au/business) and EventConnect.com.au has been selected as a site sponsor and invited to be one of only two products featured in their new business toolbox at launch.
The website will give visitors information on everything they need to know about Virgin Blue’s offerings for the business traveler, and tips and advice on issues relating to business travel.
Virgin Blue chief commercial officer, Stefan Pichler says, “This is the right campaign at the right time and it perfectly supports Virgin Blue’s commercial strategy. We are making very good progress in all corporate and government markets and we see an increase in their commitment to us everyday,” he said. The new campaign will raise awareness and create trust in Virgin Blue’s corporate product suite and encourage more people and companies to get into business with Virgin Blue.
EventConnect Managing director, Steve Coombes, says “The new relationship between Virgin Blue and EventConnect.com.au has the potential for those listed with us to be exposed to more than 500,000 people over the next two month period which is very exciting for us”.
“As part of the new partnership we will be working together to encourage event planners to contact Virgin Blue’s new MICE / Groups Department which offers the flexibility needed for our industry”, he said.
