Expedia.com relocates to make room for new staff

Sunday, 07 Jul, 2011 0

Expedia.com is moving to larger offices so it can add “several hundred employees”.

Its 600 existing staff will move from its current head office in Covent Garden to the new office in Angel, Islington, in January.

David Roche, president of Hotels.com and Venere which are part of the Expedia.com group, said: “We have only been in our present offices for three years, our teams have been growing and we just need more room.

“Our new offices will allow us to add several hundred employees as we continue to expand.”

He added: “We chose Angel because of this great building – it’s central and well designed. Our international employee base will enjoy the lively and cosmopolitan nature of the local environment and we have a high number of staff who live nearby.”
