Fareoffice Travel Solutions was founded in 2001 and they develop and sell web based booking and payment solutions for the travel industry.

“Our primary offer to travel agencies is a top of the line booking engine (IBE) for sale of scheduled flights. We have during the past two years rebuilt the IBE (Internet Booking Engine) which gives us a great edge against other IBEs on the market since we use the latest GDS technology that gives a wider range of products to sell than before.

However our clients require a Dynamic Packaging Engine (DPE) to enable them to sell packages but we have always pushed the question in front of us since it not an easy task” says Per Nordlander COO of Fareoffice Travel Solutions. “One of our clients completed extensive market research on DPEs (Dynamic Packaging Engines) during the last year and they really looked deep in to all of the software on the market and they found that Digital Trip, without competition, had the best DPE on the market. By connecting Digital Trip’s DPE to our API our client get their entire range of special negotiated fares in their DPE which gives them a huge advantage in an extremely competitive market”.

Founded in 2006 by a group of travel industry experts and top web development minds, Digital Trip has seen itself grow steadily into one of the UK’s leading suppliers of travel website solutions.

Delivering top notch travel technology that’s user friendly, easy to use yet extremely powerful and robust is at the forefront of every development project that Digital Trip undertakes. It’s not just best practices like this that make Digital Trip’s technology stand out either, it’s because they themselves were originally from the “client-side” which offers a really unique perspective and insight into what an online travel agent requires – allowing them to deliver a Dynamic Packaging Engine that continues to dominate the market.

This Joint venture gives Fareoffice Travel Solutions a greater advantage as now not only do we offer one of the best IBEs on the market but also enables us to offer the best DPE to our existing and future clients. Why reinvent the wheel when someone else already built a perfect one” says Per Nordlander.

“We are delighted to team up with such a like minded team and work together to expand our Dynamic Packaging product across Europe” states Andy Speight, Managing Director of Digital Trip. “It’s also a huge credit to our team and to the body of products we have created – it really is a big pat on the back and we look forward to the many projects the future will bring with our new partners at Fareoffice Travel Solutions.”
