First China homegrown cruise ship passes sea trials
The first China domestically built large cruise ship has passed its latest milestone.
The Adora Magic City just completed initial sea trials.
During an eight-day trial at sea, the ship was fully tested across 60 different functions.
It is back at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding to complete the fit-out.
Final delivery of the ship is expected at the end of 2023.
Adora Magic City has capacity for over 5,200 passengers at double occupancy.
