Flight diverted after passenger urinates in aisle
An American Airlines flight diverted due to the actions of an unruly passenger.
Neil McCarthy, 25, of Oregon was arrested after the Chicago to Manchester NH scheduled flight diverted to Buffalo, NY.
He is accused of urinating in the plane’s aisle and exposing himself.
When the plane landed, McCarthy was escorted off by police.
According to the complaint, McCarthy told investigators he downed several ‘Jack and Cokes.’
He also said he has a medical urination health issue.
American Airlines said the Envoy Air operated flight was diverted due to a ‘disruptive customer.’
“The aircraft was met by law enforcement upon arrival at Buffalo and re-departed shortly after,” the airline said.
Police took statements from flight crew and obtained video footage of the incident from a passenger.
McCarthy was charged with exposing his penis, which carries a maximum penalty of six months in prison and/or a $5,000 fine.

At the ripe old age of 25, he's got more than just urination problems. Other than the fine and jail time, he should be put on a no fly list and maybe even attend AA meetings.
