Grab teams up with Klook to help fuel Southeast Asia tourism recovery
Southeast Asia’s largest ride hailing app Grab has tied up with tours and activities platform Klook.
A new ‘attractions’ section on the Grab app is powered by Klook’s inventory of local activities offering Grab users opportunities to explore destinations.
Bookings can be made via the Grab app and paid for with GrabPay.
They will also earn GrabReward points.
Grab users will have access to about 100,000 tours and activities.
Grab plans to integrate it with other services more seamlessly, allowing users to book a ride to the attraction or pay for an admission ticket or activity while in transit on a Grab ride.
"Full tourism recovery is a long way away, but we look forward to playing our part to hasten the journey by working together with like-minded partners like Klook," said Jerald Singh, Grab’s Chief Product Officer.
