Great company makes cruising even better value
Travelling with old friends or making new ones while on holiday has never been more rewarding – for passengers and their travel agents – thanks to P&O Cruises Australia’s three great group booking offers.
The cruise line is offering discounts of up to 40 per cent on full brochure fares for bookings of 16 passengers on Pacific Sun and Pacific Star cruises sailing between June 2006 and January 2008, as well as offering one free berth to travel agents on each group booking that they can pass on to their clients or retain for agency use.
Passengers booked in groups will also receive one of two bonus packages including an $100 onboard credit per adult for a 10+-night cruise, or a cocktail party, bottle of wine and a $75 onboard credit per adult.
The group bookings offer also applies to P&O Cruises’ new Australian superliner, Pacific Dawn, when she begins sailing from Sydney in October 2007.
Designed to appeal to passengers and travel agents, the offer allows agents to use the group booking offers to encourage repeat business, while also giving clients even better value for money on the cruise line’s wide range of South Pacific and north Queensland cruises, P&O Cruises Australia Managing Director Gavin Smith said.
“Travel agents will not only earn commission on each passenger booking, they’ll also have the chance to earn their agency a free berth to send a group escort, use as an employee incentive or put toward future mailing or advertising promotions. Or they can reward their client for booking and pass on the free berth.”
